Marcella Shapiro , of North Miami Beach, Fla., and summers in Duluth, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 in St. Mary's Medical Center.

She was born in Chicago, Ill., to Phillip and Jennie Levin Shapiro .

She was a Miami resident for the past 20 years. Marcella was formerly employed as a legal secretary for a law firm in Chicago. She was also a life member of Hadassah and was a very generous person with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Lawrence.

She is survived by sisters, Lillian Davidson of Duluth, Marion Schultz of Reseda, Calif.; one brother, Howard (Petra) Shapiro of Lake Oswego, Ore.; a sister-in-law, Irene Shapiro of N. Miami, Fla.; special nephews, Richard Shapiro of Fla., and Robert Davidson of Littleton, Colo.; special niece, Rhonda Cohen of Ill.; and several other nephews and nieces.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES:12 noon Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 at Temple Beth El Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4900 Griffin Rd., Davie, Fla. Local arrangements by Grossberg and Sons Memorial Chapel, 6970 Stirling Rd., Hollywood, Fla. 800-638-1113.
